The Vincentian Partnership for Social Justice was established in 1996 to work for social and economic change – tackling poverty and exclusion. It is a collaborative ministry of the Daughters of Charity, the Sisters of the Holy Faith, the Society of Vincent dePaul and the Congregation of the Mission.
Vincentian Partnership for Social Justice focuses on two main approaches:
- The facilitation of an active Citizenship/Voter Education Programme with people in disadvantaged communities who are alienated from the democratic/civic process.
- Raising awareness of the reality of living on an inadequate income.
