ALL HALLOWS COLLEGE DUBLIN
Fr. John Hand, a long time collaborator and friend of the Vincentians, dreamed of establishing a college to train Irish priests for foreign missions. This dream became a reality and All Hallows opened its doors on 1st November, 1842. In 1892, the Vincentians were invited to take charge of the college. The college has flourished over the years and the Vincentians have maintained their involvement.

ST. PATRICK’S COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, DUBLIN
In 1875, St. Patrick’s was established by Cardinal Cullen as a Catholic training school for teachers to answer the ever increasing need for Catholic teachers caused in no small degree by the Model and Training Schools. The initial grounds were on Drumcondra Road and the later moved to the more spacious grounds of the former Christian Brothers’ novitiate and central house on Upper Drumcondra Road in 1883.
St. Patrick’s was placed by Cardinal Cullen in the immediate care of the Vincentian fathers. It is now in the care of a lay board but still maintain a Vincentian chaplain.
