The International Vincentian Micah Community (Micah) is an international parish based community of young adults who come together in faith. It started out in 2002 as a group of young adults together with one Vincentian priest who met informally after mass for a bite to eat and a chat.
Dublin can be a scary unfriendly place; at times even lonely to its locals. Gathering together in our little community is a place for young adults to come together, to hopefully find a home away from home. It is also a place to explore your faith and what exactly it is you understand by it and how to live it out in our lives in whatever way is comfortable. We try to live by the words of the prophet Micah “What does the Lord ask of you, only this: to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with your God”. Micah 6:8
Since its humble beginnings Micah has continued to grow and evolve organically, fuelled by the needs of its members.
