The harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few. The Congregation of the Mission has always gone where there is most need. And this often means that our work is never complete. St. Vincent de Paul knew this. Wherever they went to preach a mission, the Congregation founded “the Charities”, organisations with the same spirit and ethos to help carry on the good works which were begun during the mission. These charities have not only continued but thrived and multiplied. There are in excess of 260 various branches of the Vincentian family worldwide; each holding to the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul. All of these charities and voluntary organisations need help and support. Perhaps you feel called to lend your aid in whatever way you can.
