Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina is an ancient art practiced at one stage by all Christians. It is a slow and contemplative form of praying with the scriptures; of sitting with a piece of scripture looking for God's personal message to you.

It is not a Bible study exercise, looking at the historical context and nor is it an exercise in learning the great teachings of the Church.

It is a personal encounter between you and your God.
